TEXAS STATE REQUIREMENTS
Texas Professional Engineer State Board Requirements:
| Course Approval | The State Board does not pre-approve courses or course providers. Each engineer must determine whether an activity meets the State Board’s requirements. |
| Hours Required | 15 Units |
| Renewal Period | Annually on March 31, June 30, September 30 or December 31 based on the initial date of licensure. |
| PDH Carryover | Maximum of 14 PDH may be carried over into the next renewal period. |
| Online Courses | Accepted, there is no limit on the number of PDHs earned. |
