DELAWARE STATE REQUIREMENTS
Delaware Professional Engineer State Board Requirements:
| Course Approval | The State Board does not pre-approve courses or course providers. Each engineer must determine whether an activity meets the State Board’s requirements. |
| Hours Required | 24 Units Between 2 to 6 PDH must relate to engineering ethics or professional conduct. Up to 9 PDH can relate to project management or business skills. All other PDH must be technical in nature and relevant to the licensee’s field of practice. For dual licensed engineers or surveyors, up to 12 PDH may be related to the surveying practice. |
| Renewal Period | Biennially June 30 of even-numbered years. |
| PDH Carryover | No carryover PDH hours are allowed. |
| Online Courses | Accepted, there is no limit on the number of PDHs earned online. |
